Thank you Things Magazine.
I stumbled across this earlier today while walking to brunch. Little did I know this box was the only place to purchase this magazine in NYC, and the whole East Coast.
From the Sneeze website:
STREET BOX PROGRAM
The goal is to create a
destination for the reader by
having one box per city in a
select location — like a
flagship store.
More info on Sneeze can be found here with a preview of the first issue here.
The magazine can be also purchased on line here.
Stars of the Lid played a limited amount of shows recently, one of them for the Wordless Music Series here in New York. Unfortunately, I was unable to get tickets for the show but, Radiolab has posted their live performance here. As expected, it is blissful. Enjoy.

As I said in my previous post I have been quite busy these last few weeks and it doesn’t look like it is going to let up anytime soon. Please be patient. I have a few topics I would like to cover so once I am over this posting dry spell I will have much to write.
I changed my theme to something a little more straight forward, I did like the intensions of the Hemingway theme but it needs to be updated and I would rather not tweak the CSS now or write my own. Enjoy the new look. The font is Keedy from Emigre which can be purchased here. (More on Emigre in a later post.)
My current playlist:
Russell Haswell Live Salvage 1997 -> 2000
An amazing record. The clerk at AKA summed it up best, “brutal record man”.
Willits + Sakamoto Ocean Fire
This is what I was expecting last year’s Fennesz + Sakamoto record to sound like. Thick, pastoral, ambient music.
Sawako Madoromi
Beautiful.

Christina Kubisch – Five Electrical Walks [Important Records] – I love it!
Traditionally, year in review lists are some what hard for me to put together; this year was even harder with some personal and family issues arising, me being out of the loop, and me not keeping a list the whole year. With that being said my list for 2007…
The highlight of the whole year is me getting engaged to my girlfriend Nadene who without I would not be the person I am today.
